Pro Calcite is blend of naturally occuring Calcium Carbonate compound used to neutralize acidic water in a potable water system. Acidic waters react with calcite causing it to slowly dissolve the calcium carbonate media to raise the pH. Using Calcite will reduce the potential leaching of copper, lead and other metals found in typical plumbing systems.
